Child on the loose!

Monday, October 27th, 2008

All you parents will appreciate this.  Eva has this new thing about opening doors and escaping!  She does it at home, on the bus and even hotel rooms.  We need one of those beepers around her foot that alerts us when we she is trying to escape.  I am kinda inbetween babysitters right now, so I have been putting this kids in the nursery when we are ministering.  Last night we were at a church in Ms, and several people had asked if I would share my testimony.  The spirit was moving, tears were flowing and at the moment of alter call I hear, MOMMY!!!  I look at the back of the church and here comes Eva prancing down the isle with this sweet grin on her face…  MOMMY!!!  The funny thing is, that moments before she came in I had everyone closes their eyes, so I was the only one that could see her…  I turn to Aaron and His eyes are shut…  We had some friends from Alabama come and their eyes are shut!!! LOL… About this time she is standing beside me.  I have to stop in the middle of alter call and say, Well it looks as if my daughter has escaped from the nursery.  LOL…  The greatest is No ONE saw her leave or even noticed she was gone until they looked at the tv screen in the nursery that had the service playing on it.  Thank God she found her way to the alter! LOL… Crazy!  You all be in much prayer for us as they will have to be in the nursery the next 4 nights!!!

Gods Blessings to All the MOMMY’S!!!

Lovin It!

Friday, October 24th, 2008

Hello again…  Just setting here this wonderful Friday morning enjoying the moment…  Although it is raining outside there is this sense of warmth, and that could be that I am setting right beside the heat vent.  LOL..  All kidding aside, it is one of the most beautiful mornings I have seen in a while.  We are coming into one of my favorite times of year.  I love feeling the change in the season.  One reason I love the cool feeling in the air is… I love layering my clothes… LOL…  Strange for someone to think about, but I do…

I was thinking this morning about the season.  So often the things of the natural reflect the things of the spirit.  We are in the fall season…  There are several people that get a sense of depression when this season hits.  When you look around and the trees are becoming bare and the flowers are dying,  there may be something inside of you that feels bare and empty.  Not only that, financially we are trying to prepare for Christmas and that seems overwhelming.  As much as I love being warm from my layers of clothes, I need to feel as warm inside as out!!!  When we feel a sense of falling,   Cover yourself with the Word of God!  Wrap up in the arms of the father and warm up!  This season has a purpose in our surroundings.  If the trees didn’t become stripped of the old they wouldn’t have a healthy fruit come in the next season.  Sometimes we have to become stripped of the old so God can take us into our next season.  The key is…  Keep covered up!!!  I am Lovin IT!!!

Kind Humans!

Saturday, October 18th, 2008

Just want to take a moment from the road and share this story with you.

A few weeks ago we were in Nc at a Baptist church.  Right inside the door they had these little booklets that had a smiley face on it that read, smile Jesus loves you.  Of course Eli and Eva loved them and carried them around the entire time.  When we got on the bus that night Eli asked me to read it to him.  The first question was, What is a Christian?  His sweet response was… A kind human…  Then it went on like this:  The bible says, “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.” Romans 3:23

Have you ever lied Eli?  Yes Mommy

Have you ever taken anything that didn’t belong to you?  As his head hung in shame, yes momma

That is what sin is…  The bible says: “For the wages of sin is death:  but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”  Sin separates us from God.  That is about as far as we got in the book.  With little tears in his eyes he said mommy I wanna go to God.

Eli received Jesus in his heart that night.  He understood that he had sinned and he didn’t want anything to keep him from God!  If we all could look through the eyes of a child.  I want to encourage you parents…  Don’t think it is ever to early to share the plan of salvation with your children.  This is a different generation we are raising…  I believe this is that generation Joel talked about… Your sons and daughters will prophesy.  It isn’t the sunday school teachers place to teach our children about Jesus.  It has to start at HOME!!!  Lets teach our children about the power of prayer…  About the gift of Salvation…  And everything inbetween!

One more thing… Lets all be the kind humans that God created us to be.  Loving one another, caring for others needs.  See who you can help today.

May God Bless You!

10,000 souls!!!

Thursday, October 16th, 2008

Hello everyone…  Just wanted to take a moment and share what is going on in our world.

Last week we were in 100 degree weather and this week it is 58.  LOL….  Can we say, call a doctor.   LOL ..  Needless to say we are pleading the blood!!!  We Cruised with a cause to the Bahamas.  What a awesome trip.  Not only are you among the greatest singers and preachers in the world, but you get to be a part of something greater than ever imagined.  Aaron and I went to St. Cecilia school and presented the gospel with about 25 others.  At our school alone we saw 217 children accept Christ.  God be all the Glory!!!  While we were ministring to our students there were several other ministries taking place at the same time.  At the end of the day in Nassau there were 10,000 souls won to the kingdom of God!!!  This event will take place again next year… You should be a part!!!

We are getting ready to leave out tonight.  Please keep us in your prayers as we head to Texas!  We love you all!  Your comments are welcome!!!  Stay connected!
